Not happy.

These socks are also quite
tight fitting just above the ankle..and my ankles are pretty much the usual when it comes to ankles!

Hi Cindy I am sorry you are not happy with the socks you purchased.
As you found both pairs of socks you bought (which were from two different manufactures) too tight perhaps you should consider moving up to a larger size?
